Salty Curry
This classic pancake is easy to make and delicious for the whole family. Perfect as a dessert or sweet snack, serve with berries and whipped cream.
Ingredients
| 400 ml | flour |
| 150 ml | sugar |
| 5 ml | baking powder |
| 5 ml | salt |
| 5 ml | vanilla sugar |
| 800 ml | milk |
| 2 pcs | eggs |
| 100 g | margarine |
Instructions
Preheat the oven
Preheat the oven to 225°C (or 200°C for fan-assisted ovens).
Melt the margarine
Melt 100 g margarine and let it cool slightly.
Combine dry ingredients
Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl: 400 ml flour, 150 ml sugar, 5 ml baking powder, 5 ml salt, and 5 ml vanilla sugar.
Add liquids and margarine
Add 800 ml milk, 2 pcs eggs, and the melted, cooled margarine to the dry ingredients.
Mix the batter
Mix until the batter is smooth. Do not overmix; small lumps are allowed.
Pour onto the baking tray
Pour the batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake the pancake
Bake at 225°C (or 200°C for fan-assisted ovens) for 30 minutes, or until the pancake is golden brown and cooked through.
