Veden keittäminen

Laita vettä kiehumaan isoon kattilaan.

Perunoiden valmistelu

Kuori ja paloittele 1000 g jauhoisia perunoita tasakokoisiksi kuutioiksi.

Perunoiden keittäminen

Lisää paloitellut perunat kiehuvaan veteen. Lisää mukaan 2.5 g suolaa. Keitä perunoita, kunnes ne ovat täysin kypsiä ja haarukka menee helposti läpi (noin 20).

Veden valuttaminen

Valuta keitinvesi huolellisesti pois kattilasta. Anna perunoiden höyrystyä kuiviksi kattilassa muutama minuutti.

Muusin valmistus

Lisää kuumat perunat takaisin kattilaan. Lisää 50 g voita. Muussaa perunat perunasurvimella tai sähkövatkaimella kuohkeaksi.

Maidon lisääminen

Lisää lämmintä 200 ml maitoa vähitellen muusiin samalla sekoittaen, kunnes saavutat haluamasi koostumuksen. Varo ylivatkamista, jotta muusista ei tule sitkeää.
