Fancy Ravioli

Crispy and delicious waffles are made by combining dry ingredients, milk, eggs, and fat into a smooth batter, which is baked in a waffle iron until golden brown.

Ingredients

200 mlwhole wheat flour
400 mlall-purpose flour
50 mlsugar
10 mlbaking powder
10 mlvanilla sugar
3 mlsalt
500 mlskimmed milk
100 mlsparkling water
50 mlrapeseed oil
50 gplant-based butter or butter
2 pcseggs

Instructions

Mix dry ingredients

Measure 200 ml whole wheat flour, 400 ml all-purpose flour, 50 ml sugar, 10 ml baking powder, 10 ml vanilla sugar, and 3 ml salt into a bowl and mix together.

Add milk and eggs

Whisk in 500 ml skimmed milk and 2 piece eggs into the dry ingredients until the batter is completely smooth.

Melt the fat

Melt 50 g plant-based butter or butter in a pot or microwave.

Finish the batter

Add the melted fat, 50 ml rapeseed oil, and 100 ml sparkling water to the batter and mix gently until combined.

Let the batter rest

Let the waffle batter sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes before baking.

Bake the waffles

Heat the waffle iron and portion about 100 ml of batter at a time onto the iron, baking until the waffles are nicely colored and crispy.
