Fancy Ravioli

A white bread with a crispy crust and soft interior, perfect as a side for soups or for a filled sandwich.

315 mlwater
11 gyeast
5 mlsalt
325 gwheat flour
15 mloil

Heating water

Heat 300 ml water in a pot or bowl until lukewarm, about 37 degrees Celsius.

Dissolving yeast

Measure 11 g yeast into a bowl and mix it into the warm water.

Seasoning

Add 5 ml salt to the liquid to bring flavor to the bread.

Adding flour

Gradually knead 325 g wheat flour into the dough until it releases from the sides of the bowl.

Adding oil

At the end of the kneading process, add 15 ml oil and knead the dough until smooth and elastic.

First proofing

Cover the bowl with a cloth and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes until doubled in size.

Heating the oven

Preheat the oven to 225 °C so that it is ready for baking.

Shaping the loaves

Divide the dough into two parts and shape them into long, narrow loaves on a floured surface, then lift them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Second proofing

Cover the loaves with a cloth and let them rise on the baking sheet for another 20 minutes.

Slashing and brushing

Make a few diagonal slashes on the surface of the risen loaves with a sharp knife and brush the surface lightly with 15 ml water to get a crispy crust.

Baking

Bake the baguettes on the middle rack of the oven for about 12–15 minutes until they have a beautiful golden brown color.

The information you provide (e.g. email) must be correct. Do not share your login with others. Login is done with a code sent by email. We may suspend or remove accounts and manage user data for the operation of the service.

5. Conduct

You use the service in accordance with law and good practice. You are responsible for content you create. We may remove content or close accounts if terms are violated or for other reasons.

6. Rights and data

The service software and brand belong to us. Content you save remains in the service, and we may store, process and delete it for the service’s needs. You have the right to use the service – service data and control stay with us.

7. Privacy

We process your personal data in accordance with data protection law and our privacy notice. Email is used for login and communication. We do not sell your personal data. We are responsible for how data is processed.

8. Liability

The service is provided as is. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or that it is error-free. No liability for indirect damages within the limits of the law. We may change, limit or discontinue the service when needed.

9. Changes to terms

We may update the terms. We will inform you of significant changes (e.g. by email or in the service). By continuing to use the service you accept the new terms. We interpret the terms.

10. Governing law and disputes

The service is Finnish and is provided under Finnish law. Any disputes relating to the service shall be resolved in the courts of Finland.
