
Mushrooms in Cheese and Basil Sauce
This rich and aromatic mushroom dish is prepared quickly in a pan. Juicy mushrooms and fresh basil combine with a velvety cheese sauce that is perfect with pasta.

Slice 3 mushrooms and 1 onion into thin slices.
Boil 250 g spaghetti in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente.
Heat a frying pan and fry the mushrooms and onion until they soften and get some color.
Save some of the pasta water and pour 100 ml pasta water as well as 100 ml cooking cream into the pan.
Let the sauce come to a boil and simmer for a moment to let the flavors balance.
Chop 100 ml basil into smaller pieces.
Mix in 200 g grated emmental cheese and the chopped basil.
