Spicy Wing Sauce
This rich and spicy sauce is specifically designed to accompany chicken wings. It combines sweetness, heat, and acidity to create a traditional wing sauce flavor enhanced with fresh ingredients.
Ingredients
Steps
Finely chop the 1 red chili and cut the 2 tomato into very small cubes.
Melt the 50 g butter in a saucepan over medium heat until completely melted.
Add the finely chopped red chili and 5 ml garlic paste to the butter and sauté for a moment.
Mix in the small diced tomatoes, 5 g paprika powder, 2.5 g salt, and 2.5 g black pepper.
Add 45 ml ketchup, 15 ml honey, 15 ml white wine vinegar, and 15 ml soy sauce to the saucepan.
Let the sauce simmer over low heat for about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes soften and the sauce thickens.
If desired, you can puree the sauce with a hand blender until smooth before pouring it over cooked chicken wings.
