Garlic Pasta
A simple and delicious pasta that gets its flavor from plenty of garlic, olive oil, and fresh basil.
Ingredients
400 gspaghetti
50 mlolive oil
45 mlcrushed garlic
1finely chopped fresh chili
20 gfinely chopped fresh basil
5 gsalt
Steps
Boil the pasta
Boil 400 g spaghetti in plenty of salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve a deciliter of the cooking water and drain the pasta.
Heat the seasonings
Heat 50 ml olive oil in a pan over low heat. Add 45 ml crushed garlic and 1 finely chopped fresh chili. Sauté gently until the garlic is fragrant but not brown.
Combine ingredients
Add the drained pasta and a splash of the reserved cooking water to the pan. Stir in 20 g finely chopped fresh basil and 5 g salt. Toss in the pan for a moment until the pasta is evenly coated in oil.
