Bacon Potato Casserole

A spicy potato and bacon casserole that is perfect winter comfort food.

Ingredients

280 gbacon
1000 gpotato-onion mix
5 mlsalt
2.5 mlblack pepper
5 mlchili flakes
400 mlcooking cream

Steps

Preheat the oven

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

Prepare the bacon and dish

Slice 280 g bacon and brown it in a pan. Grease the ovenproof dish.

Add the potato-onion mix

Spread half of the 1000 g potato-onion mix into the greased dish.

Add the bacon

Spread the browned bacon on top of the potato-onion mix.

Add remaining ingredients and season

Add the rest of the potato-onion mix, 5 ml salt, 2.5 ml black pepper, and 5 ml chili flakes on top.

Add the cream

Pour 400 ml cooking cream evenly over the casserole.

Bake the casserole

Bake on the lower shelf of the oven for 50 minutes.
